Schiphol Groundhandling User Committee
The operator of an airfield must establish a consultative body for its users.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol has therefore established the Schiphol Groundhandling User Committee (SGUC). The SGUC does not have an own legal individuality and can therefore not represent the users. Each member of the SGUC brings forward his own point of view.
Each user of Schiphol Airport is a member of the SGUC. “User” is understood to mean each legal person that transports passengers and/or cargo by air. Users can be represented by the Schiphol Airline Operators Committee and/or the Association of Cargo Airlines in the Netherlands(ACN).
At least once a year the SGUC consults with the airport operator about the application of the regulation and the charges of ground handling services and facilities.
